![]() Inputting the Konami Code upon starting the game will likewise result in the opening credits being changed to the opening title credits, which features the people who created the opening. Also, if the player interrogates EVA in Zaozyorje, she will at one point mention the first eight inputs of the Konami Code. In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, inputting the Konami Code will allow the player to see The End on the map during the boss fight with him. In-universe, the Konami Code was physically represented with Solid Snake and Otacon's handshake.Īlthough not actually part of the Metal Gear series, Evolution Skateboarding, which featured Snake, Raiden, and two Gurlukovich soldiers as unlockable skins, nonetheless included a variation of the code for unlocking all stages, although in this case, the "B" and "A" is replaced with "Down" and "Up". The expansion pack, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance, features a similar use to the one above, as well as an additional use where, if the player registers their save file name in Missions mode as "UUDDLRLRBA," the player will unlock all missions and characters. In Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, the player can input the Konami Code shortly after clearing the game, when the clear code is on display, after which Snake will be heard either saying "What do you think you're doing!?" or "STOP FOOLIN' AROUND KID!" as confirmation of the code, although it can only be used once. The code was popularized in the NES version of Contra. During testing, Hashimoto found the game to be too difficult to complete, so he put in the code which gave the player a full set of power-ups. But yeah, it is cheating in my own opinion. The Konami Code was created by the late Kazuhisa Hashimoto while porting the arcade game Gradius over to the Nintendo Entertainment System. That said, if they want to fly and be God then let them. So, for me at least, the grind is part of the experience. Some spawns I have lasted a few seconds, and other tries I lasted overnight and actually got a foundation laid. I personally like the learning curve, and boy has it been steep. The whole helpful commands thing isn't my style, but as you have said, to each his /her own. ![]() So ya, naturally he is going to get the whole anti-cheats speach from someone.Įven though I specifically said, to each his own, play how ever you want. He got the response I gave about cheating, because his OP is titled "console commands as cheats?" then asks if there are said cheats that give him unlimited resources. On a side note.you ♥♥♥♥♥ about people using console to side step, yet you use a $ to say ♥♥♥♥ to side step using profanity? You are like these stupid protestors speaking out against violence by beating people and destroying things. Most of the time it is blocked or limited to owner use on servers (which last I saw multiplayer mode was not even active yet.). As for taking fun away.nobody is telling you to use it. ![]() So, in reponse to your response about being "man enough" (in playing a game.) about playing legit (which I am sure there are plenty that will just use it for cheats.this affects you how?).maybe you need to be smart enough to look at it from another perspective and stop looking for reasons to complain. ![]() While this eliminates some of the bugs and problems I may have encountered while grinding through all the tasks all over, it still allows me to look for more issues further into the game and/or different areas of the game as I am not stuck with the basics all over again. With console commands, I am able to reclaim materials used and pick up where I left out. If I spent 20 hours in a game building up a nice house then a new patch comes and wipes it, while I understand that it is an early release I am probably not going to play for a while until it gets a bit more current so ot just dumping hours into a game to be wiped. With new additions and updates to a game, often savegames are obsolete and it makes it easier than starting all over from scratch again. So what if people want to play an EA with console commands? For some it may take away fun and for some it may add it. Цитата допису Rufus Poppycock:I hate that whenever someone asks for console commands, the response is always something along the lines of cheating or not being man-enough to play "legit". ![]()
